The VTS Trailer Hitch Electrical Harness has been specially designed and developed for the Mercedes G 463 series trucks.  These electrical harnesses have been specially designed to plug directly into the original sockets, so there is not technical wiring project necessary.  Electrical components are very trycky on the G-Wagens, especially the newer ones.  You can not just tap into wires and expect them to work properly because the computer monitors very small fluctuations in electrical current.  These harnesses engineered to work with the vehicle to maintain the correct electrical signals.  The VTS harness is built to the original high Mercedes standards using some original parts such as sockets and pins.  These harnesses are no longer availbale from Mercedes.
